Installing the StealthLock® Transmitter Pad Battery:
- The Transmitter Pad is powered by batteries that will wear out over time and active use. Batteries should get replaced on an annual basis or whenever the LED indicator is blinking continuously.
- To replace the battery, first locate a small blade screwdriver.
- Insert the screwdriver tip into the access notch on the side of the Transmitter Pad. Press screwdriver in and then pull down the battery tray.
- With battery tray fully removed, take out battery and replace with fresh CR2032 lithium battery.
- Be sure to observe the proper polarity of the battery and install it in the battery tray with the positive side down.
- Slide the battery tray back into the Transmitter Pad until it snaps into place.
- The LED indicator will light for about two seconds to confirm that a fresh battery has been installed.
- Please mark your calendar to alert yourself to replace this battery in one year.
